References to Sirius in the Writings of Kenneth Grant
Occult writer and researcher Kenneth Grant's many written works on Magick and the occult contain references to the star Sirius, or Sothis. As a result of his connections with fellow magician Aleister Crowley he came to proposal that Sirius was not only important in the life of Crowley but in the esoteric principles of the Ancient Egyptian theologies.
Note
Kenneth Grant occasionally makes reference to Sothis; the Greek name for Sirius, in his earlier writings. In the following list I have also included references to the Greek form where they appear in Grant's books.

The dwarf (kraat), in its occult function, is the manikin or magical 'child ' which concentrates within itself the will of the magician. Its astronomical type is Sirius 'B ', the dark dwarf of immensely concentrated energy which accompanies Sirius 'A ', represented by Ra-Hoor-Khuit. '
