" In the town of Ocosingo, near Palenque, a wingedglobe over a doorway recalls those of Asia (see Stevens, Yucatan, ii, p. 259 ; Vining, p. 130), and seems also to appear in a shattered sculpture at Palenque itself."
Roche cita a John Stephens, de su libro Incidents of Travel in Yucatan y a Edward Vining de su libro An Inglorious Columbus: or, Evidence that Hwui Shan and a Party of Buddhist Monks from Afghanistan Discovered America in the Fifth Century.
